I'm a Big Boy Now!
For the first week I chose my big boy bed for naps and my crib at night time, but now I'm all about my bed. I'm a big boy now!

I loved the "Mommy, there is something wrong with these shoes" look that I got the first time he put them on. After helping him up he ended up right back where he started...flat on his bum! He either forgets easily or doesn't give up...I'm hoping for the later of the two. Thanks Chalise and Naomi for the cool birthday gift.

A new book from Aunt Jamie, Jeremy and Kyler
I'll have my ABCs down in no time. This is the coolest fridge toy ever and I love to dance along to the song.
Trying to get Elizabeth and Abigail wet with the watering can they got me.
My new trike!
Apparently 2nd birthdays are for Playdough and Bubbles. Andrew luckily loves both of these and got more than enough of each.
Why do children try to eat play dough? Is it because of the colorful options? Andrew thinks its icky but insists on trying each new color I open just to make sure. I know it says its non-toxic but I'll limit his playdough exposures to once a day just to make sure. He loves it and begs for it every day.
To distract him, we switch to his plethora of new bubble toys. Who knew bubbles could come out of so many different things. My favorite is the automatic bubble machine that does all the work for me. Just pore in the solution and millions of bubbles come out for hours. Smart move cousins Madison, Morgan and Mackenzie. Your mom must have light headed memories of blowing millions of bubbles too.

Our baby boy is turning two. He reminds us of this daily with his asertive "no" and favorite phrase "but I want it." He's still as cute as can be. We can't pass by anyone without a friendly little "hello" and he always remembers to say "thank you" even when we forget. He lights up our world and is the definition of happiness.
Happy 2nd Birthday Baby Boy!
A few of my favorite things...
Vrooms...especially ones I can ride on.
Walks...and being outside.
Choo Choo Cartoons...Chuggington's daddy's favorite.
Beeps...A.K.A. blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, etc.
Hot Tubs...my favorite thing to convince daddy to do with me at night.
Daddy...I am definitely a "daddy's boy" and can get him to do anything.

We finally climbed out of our crib. I was hoping this day was still in the distant future but all it took was one long night. Grandma Mary and the twins are coming to the rescue. We've inherited their old bunk beds. A new adventure begins.
