Kidnapping

Tonight the neighbors came over for dinner. Andrew was in heaven having Abby and Abby (really Elizabeth) to play and hot tub with. Larry and Jennifer took turns holding Rachel to give Craig and I a break. As they were leaving, Andrew freaked out screaming "Mommy...Rachel...Rachel...Rachel" and tried to run out the front door, naked, after them. Jennifer had her girls swimsuits wrapped up in a pink towel and he was convinced she was kidnapping baby Rachel. We now have proof that he actually likes his baby sister. :-)

Andrew thinks Rachel's toes are the coolest. Tickle! Tickle!

Our little Princess is full of smiles and coos. We can't believe she's almost 8 weeks old. She is a happy baby most of the time but takes after her father's sleeping habits. She'd much rather sleep in till noon than sleep during the night.

Andrew got ahold of one of our white board markers and drew a line that looked like a mustache. Daddy was mad and told him to wash it off, but not before mommy helped him add a few details.

Andrew loves helping with Rachel's baths. This is their first bath together. He likes to take cups of water and dump them on her belly. Occasionally they end up on her head but she doesn't seem to mind.

Christmas 2010

Andrew asked Santa for a new hammer for Christmas...even though he already has two. He loves tools and woke up to find a workbench with all kinds of new tools waiting for him under the Christmas tree with tons of other presents. He played with his new tools non-stop and wouldn't even stop to open the other presents. Late that evening, we finally convinced him to open the other presents.
